Hi,

I currently work on a portlet application which i plan to submit to the Marketplace with a paying fee. I think i read all topics and wiki related to the pricing model and all seems very clear, except one thing: do we have to implement something specific to the license management (check if a key is provided using a portal service, or something like this), or is everything automatically taken into consideration by the marketplace process?

As far as i understand, we don't have to do anything particular but if anyone could confirm, it would be very appreciated.

Hi - Glad to hear that you'll be submitting a paid app to the Marketplace! The Marketplace will take care of licensing for you - you just need to specify what kind of license you'd like to have during the app upload process (eg., perpetual, non-perpetual, 30-day trial, subscription services, etc.).
