• Focus on the user experience; through structures and templates approach
• Activity for User Group meetups
• Liferay front-end contest; gift card awards
• See who can build most beautiful UI
• Show UI dev decoupled from backend
• Major selling point of Liferay Portal
• Show Liferay is front-end friendly as well
• Attract designers and developers
• Outlet for Liferay consultants / freelance; to showcase their stories in hot topics
• Government, Healthcare, BPM, Audit Trails, etc.
• Like the Lunchtime / Georgetown meetup time / place
• Keep past contacts and mindful of the toes
• More frequent, monthly, UG meetup
• Looking for more Liferay developers; especially in front-end / templating

• Increase the community awareness; so that they know Liferay Portal exists
• Next Quarter's Meeting should be tech-focused; need to check with Johnnie, EastBanc on this

• We should share our experience so far; since we both have been working this for while; as means to bolster the community

• At the meeting, chat with Johnnie, EastBanc: plan next quarter meeting and it's topic; open to month-to-month sponsorship too? What formats are they willing to support (Shahab's presentation? Lightning rounds?)
