Hi guys,
During the competition we will use the GIT version control system. You should always commit your code to your GIT repository, so the mentors could follow your coding.
The first task for everyone is to create a Hello World portlet and put it into your GIT repository. You have to go though these steps to be able to create it:
1) Downloading the followings:

Liferay portal (Tomcat bundle is preferred)

Source of Liferay portal-
plugins sdk-
Eclipse with Liferay IDE (Choose the most suitable one)
2) Building a developing environment (it mentions Liferay portal 6.0, but the steps for 6.1 are the same)
