Committing
There are do two separate commits for each change: the first is src, the second is build. The goal is that people can always checkout the tree and have it run right away. We break up the commits so that we can easily skip the build one if we're rebasing or some other issue where we are going to manually rebuild the metadata but want to keep the actual changes for the ticket.
Applying Changes To Liferay
When you've changed Alloy UI trunk and want to test your changes with Liferay, follow these steps:
- Run ant release
- Copy the generated zip to your
$LIFRAY_PORTAL_SRC/portal-web/third-party - Run ant build-alloy from portal-web
