Note: If you will be evaluating Liferay DXP in a standalone environment, we recommend downloading the Tomcat Bundle.
Downloading Liferay DXP isn't supported on mobile. We've sent an email with this download link to your email to use on a desktop.

Cloud Hosting

If you would like to try using Liferay for 30 days in the cloud, please choose a hosting partner (not recommended for trial).

Note for Windows Users

Native Windows Zip file extractor may produce errors due to long file names contained in this bundle. To avoid this issue please use a 3rd party unzipping tool such as WinZip, 7-Zip, or WinRar.


Check your email for your trial key.

You will receive an email from hello@liferay.com containing your license key in an XML file. To manage your keys go to the License tab on your account page.

Didn't receive your trial key?

If you didn't receive an email containing your trial key, please ensure that your email address is correctly entered on your and check your spam folder. If you're having problems receiving a trial key, please contact hello@liferay.com.

Deploy your trial key.

The trial activation is limited to five concurrent sessions and is intended for use on a local developer workstation. To activate, place the attached activation XML file in the Liferay deploy directory and allow the server to auto-deploy it.
