Consuming services of a portlet

Hi All,

I have 2 portlets. Portlet Producer and Portlet Consumer. Portlet producer has defined some services using the service-builder. It is connecting to a third party DB.

Now when my Portlet Consumer is trying to invoke those services I am getting an exception - "Invalid object name 'people'"

The strange thing is it doesnt give any error for the finder methods generated by Liferay. It gives this error only when the method is using custom-sql.

Sorry, Tina, you'll have to provide some more details about what is going on (stack traces, custom sql, etc.).

If I'm just guessing I would wonder if you're pulling in the right session when invoking the custom sql, meaning that it is executed against the liferayDataSource instead of your external data source, but this is really only a guess.
