Hi Davide,

Yes, the licensing mechanism will work under both EE and CE portal. You set the license type, term, and price during the app upload process. And you set the portal compatibility via the plugin.package.properties file (same process as free apps).

But what mechanism will prevent a customer to deploy the same war on another Liferay instance or to use it after the licence expiration?

The same mechanisms we use for enterprise licenses will prevent users from transferring and extending licenses.
