  Print Blog Post
Project Title #
Print Blog Post
Background #
Liferay has a large collection of in-built user collaboration and content generation tools, such as wikis, blogs, message boards, etc. Often times it is convenient to print (e.g. to paper, or a PDF) useful content such as blog posts.
Use Cases #
A user wishes to have a hard copy (or easily accessible PDF) of a particular blog post.
The Problem #
Currently, Liferay's blogs have no notion of a "print view" similar to what is found on the wiki tool.
The Solution #
Modify the existing blog portlet to enable a "print view" option (similar to wiki view).
Skills Needed #
- Required: Java, JavaScript, JSP
 - Nice to have: Liferay, AlloyUI

Prerequisites #
None.
Deliverables #
- Complete code changes to Liferay Portal blog tool to enable a "print view" option displayed as part of a given blog post or blog aggregator.
 - Unit tests for all new and changed code.
 - Documentation required to configure the blog tool for print view.
