The second meetup of the Liferay Montreal User Group was held on Wednesday April 24, 2013, from 18:00 to 19:30 at the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal (1050 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal, Quebec H3A 2R6). The event was registered on Eventbrite this time, which helped us in its organisation. 

Around fifteen people participated, most of them from Montreal.  We also welcomed Keren Merimah from Liferay, a special guest from New York who was a presenter at Intracom 2013 the following day. 

We presented some Liferay modules, particularly the integration of Liferay and Talend ETL, presented by Sven Werlen (Vice president, Enterprise Solutions, Savoir-faire Linux), and the integration of Liferay and Bonita BPM, presented by Marat Gubaidullin (Director of Middleware Solutions, Savoir-faire Linux). The ETL module for Liferay allows you to configure and execute ETL (Extract - Transform - Load) operations  in Liferay. The Bonita BPM module for Liferay allows you to configure and manage Bonita processes in Liferay and work with Bonita as a Liferay user. The module also allows you to view Bonita tasks and manage them through the Liferay interface.
