I would like to first appreciate all your hard work you all put as a team behind making Liferay marketplace wonderful place for developers. Keep it up guys

We have a great experience while publishing apps on Liferay marketplace. Till now we have published multiple free apps in the marketplace. For the first time, we are planning to publish a paid app on marketplace and for that we have a couple of questions :

• Is it compulsory to offer 30-day trial period?
  
• If 30-day trial period offered, then do we need to handle app license expiring/tracking from the code itself or that is something handled from your end?

Can you please provide your views on above mentioned questions?

Thank you so much for the kind words. Great to hear that your experience with Marketplace has been positive. Now, on your questions:

1. 30-day trial period - it's not compulsory, but we highly recommend it. Prospective customers find this feature very useful, and we find that apps with trials generally get more traction than those without.

2. license tracking - we do this for you on the Marketplace side of things. All you need to do is create/publish/price your app!
