The Application Display Templates Framework

The ADT (Application Display Templates) Framework is a way to use templates (both velocity and freemarker) to decide how to render you applications in Liferay

IMPORTANT: This framework will be available for Liferay Portal 6.2

The goal of this wiki page is to show a list of examples that you can use as a reference, improve or share

Some of the templates we are adding here will be part of the Portal distribution (will come preloaded in the bundle), and others won't.

Please feel free to add your templates and comments when you start using this framework

Liferay, this is so awkward, you should use workflow to restrict comments from the fake user.

Is there a document anywhere that details the difference between freemarker in ADT's and freemarker in Web content templates (like no taglibLiferayHash function) and freemarker in themes.

there is an excellent document for velocity but not for freemarker.

Its taking me far too long to create a number of templates since I find different variables are available or not - like currentURL
