Do you want to migrate your existing site to Liferay, but don't know where to start?
You can import the sitemap of your existing site to create all the skeleton pages in Liferay. Head over to the "Sitemap to Community Generator Portlet'" page to check it out:
A note on usage:
The sitemap needs to be in "Emacs Outline" format, which looks like below:
*Site Page 0 Level 0 **Site Page 0 Level 1 ***Site Page 0 Level 2 *Site Page 1 Level 0 **Site Page 1 Level 1 ***Site Page 1 Level 2 ***Site Page 2 Level 2 **Site Page 2 Level 1 ***Site Page 1 Level 2 ***Site Page 2 Level 2
The above would result in a page called "Site Page 0 Level 0" in the current community where the portlet resides. Beneath the new page a child page is generated, namely "Site Page 0 Level 1", and so on.
