Where is favicon.ico in 7.0?

Hi all,
I'm using a 7.0 CE GA3 portal (Tomcat bundle).

I should like to change the fiavicon.ico but every suggestion I found (mainly for 6.2) doesn't work.

In the catalina.out log file I see a 404 error for "/favicon.ico"

I searched the directories tree under [liferay home] but I didn't found any favicon.ico, liferay.ico or liferay.png

In the browser still appears the liferay favorite icon.

How can I change this icon?

Update:

putting favicon.ico in the directory:
[where you unzipped the bundle]/liferay-ce-portal-7.0-ga3/tomcat-8.0.32/webapps/ROOT/

almost work: sometimes appear your icon sometime appear the default Liferay icon

Not sure what can I do.
