removal of mysites and notification from dockbar liferay without using hook

Hi,
i m using liferay 6.2 ga2 i want to remove mysites and notification option from dockbar without using hook.is it possible?? if so can anybody provide solution for that

No it is not possible.

Notification option can be removed by removing the notifications plugin (it is in webapps), but the mysites is going to be there and only jsp hook can remove.

Thanks for your quick response. can you please provide the exact location of Notification Plugins and if notification plugins is removed from the dockbar does it affects any other changes in website and can you please provide any reference link to remove my sites from hook.
