Liferay multiple site propagation for disaster recovery

Hi,
Knowing that high availability for liferay can be supported through app server and database clustering, my question is does liferay have any kind builtin support for multiple site propagation for disaster recovery. We can do this through 3rd party solution but was wondering if liferay had anything along these lines as well.
