Stupid question but still have to ask

When my developers put my site on Liferay I think they used 4.2 but I need to upgrade and want to make sure it isn't 4.1. Is there any quick way to tell?

Also does 6.0 have all the upgrade scripts necessary to take the install all the way to 6.0 or do I need to do the whole 4.2=>4.3=>5.0=>6.0 route?

It's in the release_ table or on the admin portlet. I haven't upgraded to 6.x, but the new install should upgrade. Be sure to back up the database though.

So I found build 3501 which seems to be 4.2.1. The only big question which I think you answered but want to double-check is there is some documentation in the past that insisted that you move from 4.2.1 (or earlier versions) to 4.3 before going any higher (ver 5.0). In the Ver 6.0 documentation 6.0 seems to have some built in scripts to handle all of this though.
