How to teach Web content Structure XML understand russian names?

Hello everybody,

I am facing with the following problem:
I have Liferay portal 5.2.1 installed with tomcat 5.5.
I am trying to create XML definition for Structure in Web content, but when I click Save it shows me an error "Please enter a valid XML schema definition." I've found that this happens when I use russian charachters in XML definition. Could anyone help me with solution?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can do that using Russian characters. Pretty much anything that qualifies as a "special character" in ENGLISH won't work - even things that are English but "special" like ; or - or ? won't work.

I am also having problems in russian names. And russian seems to be difficult to learn
