adding region to a country

Is there a way..? I've done it manualy in the database but the region popup screen doesnt apear.

Liferay 5.2.3

mysql 5

Linux ubuntu 9.10

try refreshing your db cache in control panel ... or restart your app server.

can i see the country table entry make sure countryId is matching just in case u know

countryId | name | a2 | a3 | number_ | idd_ | active_ |
