Eh, it seemed funny at the time...

Most of the time you don't have to worry about individual perms when you are creating a role for page access. Just create the role, don't assign perms but do assign users, create the page, then on page perms remove guest, etc. roles, just enable view for your new role. And Voila!

As long as the user has necessary web content creation roles too, you're all set.
