Document Library view permissions
Hi everyone,
I'm facing problems with the permissions system in the document library in 6.1 GA1 CE.
1. If there are no global VIEW permissions for a role on document and media, the library access is very slow (not applicable).
2. If I define a global VIEW permission to document and media entries for a role (via control panel), the document library is as fast as expected. But now any document can be viewed by this role even if the role has no view permissions to the parent folder. In my understanding the property permissions.view.dynamic.inheritance=true should deny the access to the document if there are no view permissions to the direct parent folder.
Can anyone explain why the document library is not working as expected?
