Issue with display of PDFs via search results

Hello,

We are seeing an odd issue with PDF files stored in a document repository. We are running EE 6.0 SP2. Files can be directly accessed and display in-browser as expected. However, when accessing files via the search engine, we have mimetype issues - the content of the PDF is returned to the screen.

Here is a search result list:



When you click on the search result links, one of the PDF's displays correctly:



But various others are broken:



The issue is that *some* PDFs are being returned as text/html:

If we directly visit the documents on the site, the PDF displays correctly.
