Message Board.

Hi All,

I need to configure mailing functionality in Liferay. I m doing this by using "Message Board Portlet". Firstly let me know am i doing the right approach.
IF Yes, then tell me how will i send the message to any particular recipent in stead of posting the message publically.

Help me please.

Hi Rashmi,

It depends on you requirement.

You can use invitation or web form portlet to send mail to individuals.

Have a look at this portlets may be you can use it. Or you can create simple portlet using javamail api.

In message board, if you subscribe any particular community, than any updates on that community will be send to subscriber via email.
