Liferay startup process

Hi all!

I'm using Liferay 6.0 with Tomcat. I'm still a beginner at it, and my portlets are mostly to demonstrate simple functionality. Once in a while so it happens that I get some weird errors at the beginning and I thought I debug them better if I know What happens when I start Tomcat?

Any documentation on that topic?
