Is there any basic guide lines for bug squad team to cover basic test cases
OR
Is it simply testing different out-of-the-box functionalities as well as testing some custom development (new features - provided through hooks/any other plugins)

In phase 1 of bugsquad, we had a set of documents covering how to test the new features, which I have attached to this post. It's a little out-dated now since the feedback from the testing has been incorporated into the product, but still could serve useful as a general guide to several of the new major features.
