Unable to delete a page/article - error log messgae failed to initialize fi

Hello,

Has anyone seen the attached error. I'm trying to delete a page and getting the attached error and also getting the error when I try and delete an article.
However, I have managed to delete a version of the same article successfully and have also successfully been deleting images ??

Anyone else had this and got a fix please??

Thanks for the info but isn't this. We're using the a thin java client, meaning it's pure java. There's no oracle client libraries installed on our boxes ( it's just a single jar ) so we don't have an ORA_HOME.

I can delete directly on the database using the same log on details? Just comes up with the error through the GUI.

i m not sure this is an answer but just try it out
go to controle panel, server Administration, and execute the clear database cache script
hope this will help
