Files of size 11 MB, bumping file size error.

Hi,

I am trying to upload a PDF file as an attachment to a wiki. I am seeing an error "User_Guide_v_2_5.pdf. Please enter a file with a valid file size"

Is there a limit on the attachment file size. If so, how do I increase the file size limit programatically? Are there any options to customize the file size limit?

I guess you are uploading files using Document Library portlet.

You need to set this in portal-ext.properties file.

dl.file.max.size=13072000

Or go to Control Panel -> Server Administration -> File Uploads,
There you can set the file size based on the portlet

That helped me resolve the issue. I was able to increase the size of the attachment document size from 3MB to 13MB.
