Upgrading YUI3 inside the the alloy directory?

Is it possible to upgrade all yui3 components to the new/latest version of yui3?

The alloyui is so poorly documented and written that it hurst more than it helps.

All of the Liferay interface is based upon AUI/YUI. If you need to upgrade, be sure to check out the entire portal after the upgrade to ensure you haven't broken anything in the process.

Have you tried the Alloy Site for documentation?

Thanks for your reply.

I have searched the alloyui site more than once.

What i need is the datatable or the new Treeble.

The main problem is that alloyui has a lot of its own functions that break the yui3 code.
for example "datasource-io" has been replaces by "io", but this lacks some functions of yui3 datasource-io.

also the way alloyui handles json is slightly different from yui3 itself.

But, to be honest, alloyui has only some halfworking examples and if you try the yui3 examples within liferay most of them they won't work.
