Document Library links to folders broken during upgrade

Hello all,

We recently conducted a migration from 6.0 to 6.2GA6 CE with overwhelming success save for an issue related to links to folders in the document library. We initially grabbed links to the folder from the address bar when accessing the document library portlet. Now that we are accessing the folders through the documents and media portlet all of of the links to the folders are different (not completing) and much longer in size.

I also get this notification when I attempt to access a folder with the old link:
"This portlet has been undeployed. Please redeploy it or remove it from the page"

6.0 path to a folder was /-/document_library/view/somenumber

6.2 path to a folder is /web/guest/document-library?p_p_id=20&p_p_lifecycle=0&p_p_state=normal&p_p_mode=view&p_p_col_id=column-1&p_p_col_count=1&_20_struts_action=%2Fdocument_library%2Fview&_20_redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fsomeurl%2Fweb%2Fguest%2Fdownloads%3Fp_p_id%3D20%26p_p_lifecycle%3D0%26p_p_state%3Dnormal%26p_p_mode%3Dview%26p_p_col_id%3Dcolumn-1%26p_p_col_count%3D1&_20_folderId=somenumber

The new documents and media portlet provides you a url and webdav address to the actual document but not to a folder.

What gives? Is there a better way to obtain a path to a folder in the document library?
