I have to implement federated search in liferay.
Approch: Nutch+Solr+liferay portlet
I am using nutch for crawling urls(diff site - out side liferay) and solr for indexing this crowled DB.
I have made a custom portlet which hit solr server and fatch result then show this result on presentation layer.
liferay have own search.
we want to liferay search should from solr.
we have configure readymade solr porlet of liferay. it only search all content of sites which is under liferay, means lifeary search result is coming form solr.
