Status of Lexicon

What is the current status of Lexicon? the git hub page is still saying Alpha release and not to be used in anger.

Is that just the code on Github?

Is the code that is in the main DXP SP builds fully supported and committed to?

We are particularly focused on the icon libraries as well as the standard extensions to bootstrap delivered.

I noticed that there is a new release item on the community page that it talking about clay -- the first formal implementation of lexicon? If I have that right, I would guess that its beyond alpha, thought admittedly I have not tried to use it yet myself.
