how to make portlet 100% width of page?

hi

i create some portlets for my liferay server.it works fine but its like not full width.


i want the view is width to the edges.how can i do that?

This is a theme thing and is not a problem with your portlet. The theme you are using, the Classic theme, limits the the width of the content area to 1280px. If you want to change this, you'll need to create your own theme or download a different theme from the Marketplace.

so can i find the codes from the classic theme and edit it ?
or do i have to create a new theme.



and can i also edit the positions of that parts that i show on the pic?

You should create a new theme.

The position of the icon can be changed in your theme.

i found an easy solution.i find that div of that area and change the css on the liferay Look and Feel Configuration menu.
