Develop on Liferay 6+ ?

All, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm a newbie on Liferay development. I understand (or I think I do), the ext environment. I have the LIferay SDK and I've toyed with portlet development.

However, the Blog portlet definately can use some enhancements, and I was going to "play around" with it. I downloaded the source for Liferay, but I cannot get it into Eclipse for some reason.

I tried "Add new project from Ant file", but all the build.xml gives me is the test environment. How can I import Liferay sources into Eclipse, so that I can know what to modify in my EXT?

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, the linked URL was about classpaths, but was not exactly the problem I was having. However, I did, in fact, get the sources imported correctly. Thank you, again.
