Unable to run User Export and import market place plugin in liferay 62 EE

Hi All,

I am trying to run liferay User Export Import Plugin in dev environment, It succefully deployed but while opening option from control panel it is giving below error :

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Path does not start with a "/" character

Downloaded: https://web.liferay.com/marketplace/-/mp/application/61081811
Version : Liferay 6.2 EE
Server : tomcat


Note : I could able to run in my local I have only problem with higher environments.

Did any one have faced similar issue?

This isn't an answer to your question - but a question to you rather.

Liferay does provide a mechanism to export users out of the box. It's limited in scope to a single portal instance at a time, but if you are not using a multi-instance setup, it should be adequate. Are you using multiple instances?

Yes we are using multiple instance. we are trying to export user from one liferay to another liferay(both have instances).

If you only have a couple of instances, at this point, since that marketplace plugin doesn't work, I would try just exporting the users from the individual instances and doing it using the out of the box. This marketplace plugin would be very useful if you have many many instances for sure, but if you only have a few? .. even as many as 10 ... at this stage trying to fix the plugin seems like it would be taking longer than just doing individual export/import actions.

You might also consider contacting the author and asking them about it.
