Enable TLS1.2 in Salesforce Portlet

Hi,

We are trying to enable TLS1.2 in Salesforce-portlet (LR version 6.2) and tried solutions in following posts.

but somehow it is not working. may be because axis.jar is in ROOT/WEB-INF/lib also.

Please share if anyone has done this successfully.
