Liferay sync app not working with LDAP user having a notification email

Hi all,

I am having a problem that Liferay sync app shows "access denied" when syncing an LDAP user having a separate email address. The app is always taking the notification email as the log in ID instead of the registered LDAP email. I was trying through the Sync Admin tab of the Control Panel in case there was any configuration useful to tweak this, but no. Is there any possibility to tell liferay sync to take the registered ldap email as the login ID not the notification one? Your help will be strongly appreciated.

Hi Vichai,

Liferay Sync should be going through the same authentication process as browser initiated logins.

Are you sure that your LDAP settings are using the "registered ldap email"?
