Hello,

I'm trying to understand the difference between a 'public restricted' site and a 'private restricted' site. Any answer ? Thanks !

If I remember correctly, this is terminology that Social Office brought - right? In that case it's a combination of different Liferay features:
Pages can be public (default: visible to everyone) or private (default: visible only to members of the sites).
Site membership options can be public/open (everybody can instantly become a member), restricted (everybody can ask to become a member, but needs to be approved) or private (users have to be added to a site by a site administrator). It's unfortunate that both terminologies are so similar.

"public restricted" would then refer to "public pages, restricted site membership". "private restricted" would mean: "private pages, restricted site membership"

I hope that helps
