Liferay 6.1 trail license key ?

Hi All,
Need help to understand how to get Liferay 6.1 or Liferay 6.2 Trail license to test applications on local system.
My Production/Dev/Stage are Liferay 6.1EE , but would like to test our applications locally before committing them to Dev .
Is there a way to get trail license for 6.X???

No.

However if you are a real 6.1 license holder you can contact your sales rep and they can likely create a dev license for you.

There are no more 6.1 or 6.2 trial licenses: 6.1 is not sold any more, 6.2 won't be sold for long time - Trial is for DXP only.

Customers who licensed any EE version already have a matching developer license that comes with it - and shouldn't look for trial licenses for development purpose. Just go to the ones who are holding your company's development licenses and ask them for it.

Thanks for the update. This seems to be a tedious task now, Need to check who is holding the Developer license Key's in our company.
Wont be able to take so much pain .. Will try to work on DEV instead of local system from here on .

Wait, how is that Liferay's fault?

The trial licenses were always meant to allow someone to preview the current EE version; they have never offered turning out trial keys for older versions.

But I am not upset with Liferay , but the tedious process of reaching the sales team and getting the Dev -license .

If you prefer to contact Liferay's sales team over your own in-house keepers of the license files, and you're calling this process tedious - I don't want to know the attributes you have for your inhouse processes ;)

As Olaf said, you should contect the person from your company who manage liferay partner/costomer account. But there is a way to get developer licence for Liferay 6.1
