Export Liferay page settings and role and permission information

I would like to know how to export liferay page settings and role and permission information.

Hi Kalyan,

You should be able to export/import roles,permissions,page settings with the help of
Manage Page -> Export/Import option for a particular page.

Ones I exported all this information and I would like to re-import it seamlessly. Is there any way for doing this?

Hi Kalyan,

Please correct my assumption, if wrong.

I think what you're trying to do is create two separate pages/portals on the same Liferay instance, and keep the roles/permissions/settings constant for both the sets? Is that correct? If not, please elaborate on what you're trying to target.

To answer your question, just as you use the "export" to export your settings to a .lar file, you can import the same .lar file for another page/portal/community/organization using the "import" option.

Both the options are available under the same Export/Import tab in Manage Pages.
