RE Liferay server configuration in Linux

Hi

I have downloaded Liferay bundled with Jboss A S 7.1
i configured in Linux exvironment by using putty server and i started server and it is UP
but issue when we type Server-IP:port it is not opening but if you install vnc and take GUI of server and if i type localhost:8080
then it is working

i need work through putty only can one help on these

Hi,
Probably a firewall issue. You need to open the ports in the firewall.

Thanks its fire issue only.
we stopped firewall in linux machine then it is working fine
