Logged in users in liferay

Hi,

I wanted to know how many users currently logged in to the Portal , how many sessions are actually created currently and how many sessions are destroyed?

Is there any way in liferay portal that we can get an idea from control panel regarding the logged in users? If there are 500+ users are logged into Portal at a time then will it create performance issue?

Hi,
Add live.users.enabled=true in your portal-ext.properties and then you can view the logged in user via Control Panel > Users > Monitoring
And about 500+ users, please check the performance whitepapers from Liferay to know about performance tuning, high availability and clustering. They have quite a lot of test scenarios in there. Also check on other whitepapers from here
