User Roles - Accept Site Content Changes

Hello,

i have a question about User Roles and Permissions. Is it possible to allow one user role to change/add the content of a page and hide it until e.g. the site administrator accepts these changes and it goes public?

You need Staging + A role with permission to edit the page.

Alternatively, you could use the default content management workflow that comes with the portal where you content contributor is able to add the content but once they are done it goes to another user who approves it for publishing.

Staging, as Ravi suggested, will work as well, but you will find that success with the staging feature can be a bit tenuous. It relies on the export/import feature to work and from my experience this can be one of the most painful features to work with unless you have the right source and destination environments.

What you are describing sounds more like approval -- which to me sounds like workflow.
