Logging Login attempts and Role changes

Hello all,
I needed to insert on a DB information about login attempts and role changes that were perfomed on liferay 6. Is there any way to configure liferay (through log4j maybe) so that i can catch these specific events and log them using a class developed by me?
Regards

You should look at the new audit framework.

Hello Ray,
Yes this Audit Service would completely solve my problem But when i go to the incubation I only find the audit-hook which asks for the audit-portlet... Where can I find the audit-portlet?

Audit became as EE only feature and is available with 6.0 EE SP1 which should be released quite soon.
