Hi,

How to create complex layouts like one attached file using IDE.

Can some one explain me how the layout works and what can be achieved, I am finding difficulty is creating layout with "column which spreads across multiple row".

I want to create nested layout.

Layout templates are fairly easy. Take a look at what IDE generates. Basically: Create what you need in basic HTML (your choice if you go with <div> or <table>) and then add the column-processing placeholders to that template. IDE currently helps you with the easy setups - if the graphical editor cannot handle your setup (seems it can not - otherwise you wouldn't ask) it's really not hard to go to the layout template source yourself.

is there any documentation on how to create layouts in the IDE - I have the nightly build so can create a layout project but you are then sort of left to your own devices.

I also want to create some what similar layout as attached by you.
I have tried to open the video posted by Oalf, but not able to see that.
I haven't work before on layout, could you please help me how to do that.
Any help would be appreciated.
