Attaching a user to a user group change the default theme of SO

Hi,
I have down loaded the beta version of SO and installed it. I was looking for a way to add a page to social office. I was able to do this by creating a user group and creating a public page for that group. When a user is assigned to this group, that page gets automatically attached to that user just like in liferay portal. Everything works fine except the theme of the user’s home and other default pages (profile and Mail). These revert back to liferay default theme. But the new page and other sites remain in the SO theme without any change. Additionally user gets the access to ‘Control Panel’. I have attached two screen shots too. How can I get back everything to SO them and disable the control panel access to this user?
