Mail portlet don't show count of unread letters

Number of incoming messages is 0, although there are unread messages.

Thanks for the pull request. Here is the process for contribution. First you need to open a JIRA ticket in LPS here: http://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS Then click the "contribute solution" fill out the fields (including the pull request link, and agree to our Contributor Agreement).

Also you should not send pull requests to the main repository "liferay/liferay-portal" but instead you need to identify the closest module lead from the LPS components JIRA page

Then find that person in github and issue a pull request against their fork of the main repo.
