Administer flagged blogs and threads

Hi,

I'm using Liferay 5.2.3. I want to provide report inappropriate content functionality to my site.

Does anybody know how the flags(report inappropriate content) for blog entries are being stored in database?
Also, how the administrator can view or manage flagged content?

There is a "report content" that can be turned on. As far as how to administer those, there's a page of suggestions for future revisions of the message board one of which will be the ability to move those threads/entries/comments to a private area for moderators/admins.

I can come up with a portlet for admin to manage inappropriate content. But, I want to know how the flagged content are being stored in DB table. I believe, there is no default service available in Messageboards and Blogs to get flagged content.

Kindly suggest some solution to this, without much code changes. Thanks.

Go in to configure on your messages boards and "enable flags". Same for the blogs.

How does the content get stored in database?
I could see a table "mbmessageflag" in which a row gets inserted when a message is flagged by the user.

But, there is no such table for blogs. There is no way to find out a flagged blog.

Some functionalities below may have to be available.
The user is not able to add more flags to same content, which is good. The drawbacks are,
1. Service methods to access flagged content are not available.
2. If the user flags one particular message, then the user is not able to flag other messages in same thread.
3. The user is not able to remove the content which was flagged by him.
4. Also, the flagged content is not displayed differently.

Please let me know if some of these features are already there.

It sends emails out, from what I've seen. It doesn't display them differently.

This is great progress. Is there any way to flag other things?

Basically, on a big public community, anything a user can type can be a source for rude, crude, illegal or spam content. I'd like to allow blogs, wikis message boards, calendars -- as much as possible -- but right now it looks like the flagging is limited to just a couple of places, which will limit what I can allow folks to use.

Is there any way to expand what has been flagged, for example to Wiki pages?

Not *yet* at least. <grin> One of the things that I love about the Liferay platform is the way it keeps improving.
