User statistics portlet

Hi,
Can any body have idea on functionality behind social activity user statistics portlet ?
I need to know how the user rank is displayed depending on participation and contribution and how it will change user rank on time to time?

Hi Sumalatha,

the predefined activities will put counters into the database, to the SocialActivityCounter table. In the User Statistics portlet those counter values are used.

I have debug the portlet and understood the functionality now.

Hi Zsigmond,

Would you mind sharing the logic used to compute the ranking. I have tried changing the settings in configuration i.e. to use only Rank by Contribution but that does not have any impact on the Rank.
