IE Browser Freeze

Could someone please tell me why my IE browser freezes completely for a period of time when accessing some Liferay based websites including this one. You could browse to a thousand web sites/portals without experiencing this type of total browser freeze. For a period of time the browser cannot even be exited/minimized or maximized. And this occurs without a javascipt error message. Is anyone else experiencing this? What is the cause?

Hi Robert-
Under what circumstances is this browser freeze occuring? When you are accessing specific portlets on a liferay page? Using the message boards? Just wanting to try and narrow down the cause of the issue you're having.

I see the same thing - this was part of what I meant when I posted on the Using Liferay category about Liferay being slow.

I'll try and figure out what I'm doing when it happens. But it's extremely frustrating.

Hi Brian,

i am currently using IE 7 and above. after i signIn the system is totally freeze. my current build up with LR 6.0.5 CE.
please let me know what we can do for this issue ?
