Different page layouts for different user roles

Hi,

i need to display a page with different layout for different users. For eg. Page 1 should be displayed in layout 1_2_2 columns for an admin and 1_2 columns layout for a normal user. To be more precise, there are few portlets in page1 that do not appear for normal user and appears for admin. So i need to change my layout accordingly. Thats my issue now.

Is it possible to enable this layout change dynamically using my portal-ext.properties file?

please guide.

Hi janaki govindan,

You can do it via UI.

1) MANAGE PAGES
2) MANAGE ROLES
3) ASSIGN LAYOUT TEMPLATES
4) PERMISSIONS
