Move pages from private community to public guest scope

Hi,

we have lots of pages in private community scope and we want to move them (switch them or make them visible) into public guest page location. Is there any smart and simple solution to do that?

The only "out of the box" way of doing this currently is to "export" the
Private pages, then importing them in the public pages. Remember that on
export NOT to include Portlets -> Data.

PS, please try importing in a test instance of the portal first... our
early implementations of export/import were not without it's flaws...

As Ray said the official way to do it now is to export / import the data.

You can try changing the data directly in the db, here is how I did it:

It was for the other way around, you'll just need to change PRI to PUB and vice-versa. I highly recommend to stop the Liferay and make a full db backup before you change the data.

Hello, i've tried that action (in Liferay 5.2) to move pages from guest to my organization, but the export/import action DELETES my organization's structure and substitute it with the lar's one.

I've haven't checked the checkbox with the option 'Delete pages not in the lar'.

How can i move the pages without deleting? or what have i done wrong?
